Graydon Creed has Iceman's father William Drake beaten for not giving up Iceman and he's hospitalized. As Bobby sits bedside, they are visited by Storm and Gambit. She and Bobby go to the hospital roof to discuss events privately.

Cannonball, undercover in Graydon's campaign for president, has a conversation with Creed about Sam's father. Creed becomes angry when asked about his father.

Outside the hospital, Wolverine says hello to some of Graydon's supporters there to kill the mutants within.

Back at William's bedside, Bobby informs Ororo he is leaving the X-Men.
